Frontend developer

Steerpath is looking for you to be integral part of team enabling indoor positioning technology for any venue globally. The position will be filled as soon as we find the right person!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Steerpath has an industry leading indoor positioning and mapping platform with a unique delivery model where onsite visits or specially trained people are not needed. Our technology will make getting indoor positioning for a venue as simple as using google docs, bringing the web signup experience to real world services. We have the tech, but now we need your help to bring indoor maps, wayfinding and positioning everywhere.

JOB DUTIES

In this position, your main responsibility will be web front end development for multiple uses. The work will include design and implementation of web management interfaces that incorporate maps, big data analytics, content and location data. You will also have chance to work on improving the user experience of mapping and navigation systems as well as have the opportunity to start with no legacy, using modern tools and libraries to build something awesome.

This position suits you if you want to be a valued member of the core team in a relaxed and

social work atmosphere. This position offers you a front row seat into the ways new technology is changing the world.

REQUIREMENTS

Our ideal candidate has previous web frontend development experience and has worked with frameworks like React. Your passion is to become a programming expert and you are interested in working in an innovative start up. You are a suitable candidate for this job if you want to learn and develop your skills continuously. We also require fluent Finnish or English skills.

Junior Implementation Engineer

Are you a quick learner and hard worker interested in modern technology, indoor positioning and maps? Do you want to be a part of a team, which builds solutions that work in the real world and that millions of people will value and love to use? Steerpath is looking for you to be integral part of our team, bringing indoor positioning technology and maps to venues globally. The position will be filled as soon as we find the right person!

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our technology brings indoor positioning and maps to venues such as hospitals, supermarkets, campuses and airports. We are now looking to strengthen our team with someone who transforms the customer’s CAD material into beautiful maps using our internal automated tools.

JOB DUTIES

In this position, your main responsibility will be to adjust the CAD material we get from customers to yield pretty maps including adding icons for stairs and drawing routes as well as discussing with the customer to understand their use cases and how that affects visuals. The work is done by editing the customer’s CAD material and then feeding it to our map management system.

This position offers you a front row seat into the ways new technology is changing the world.

REQUIREMENTS

Our ideal candidate has past experience in customer support roles and knows how to use 2D CAD software. Your passion is to become an expert in your field and you are interested in working in an innovative start up. You are a suitable candidate for this job if you want to learn and develop your skills continuously. We also require fluent Finnish and English skills.
