Indoor positioning for iOS and Android

Steerpath was designed from the very beginning to run on any platform. This means that all of the core algorithms are written in a cross platform way using plain ANSI C and avoiding dynamic memory use. This means robustness, reliability and performance, but above all the features you use on one platform work exactly the same on the other one.

From a developer point of view, cross platform could mean cumbersome to use - it doesn't. We wrap the low level API with a platform specific, easy to use and familiar layer. This means that for example on iOS the location is delivered as CLLocation objects, just like the ones you get from the GPS APIs. On Android the API is in Java and the Location object is used. You just register a standard LocationListener to get updates, just like with the GPS API.
